Get ready for an exhilarating addition to Winter Tournament Week 2024! For the first time, the NZ Secondary Schools Street Skateboarding Championship will take the spotlight as a sanctioned event. Hosted by Skateboarding NZ, this thrilling competition will unfold at the Birkenhead Skatepark on Tuesday, 3rd, and Wednesday, 4th September.

Young skateboarders from across the nation will converge in Auckland, ready to showcase their skills and passion. The competition will feature Under 15 and Over 15 categories for both girls and boys, promising intense action and unforgettable moments.

School Sport NZ is thrilled to introduce skateboarding into the lineup, offering students a chance to compete in a sport that’s rapidly growing in popularity and accessibility. It’s more than just a competition; it’s an opportunity to be part of something new and exciting in the world of school sports.

• Wednesday, 4th September: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM – Semi-finals, Finals, Prize Giving
