REFEREE INFORMATION ALL teams MUST supply a referee - this is a condition of entry into a BBNZ tournament. For those schools struggling to find referees, it is important that you work with your local Association to rectify this. BBNZ do not have the referees to cover these tournaments. Players or coaching staff can be used and the role can be shared, but a reminder that each referee will need to officiate two games a day. All teams will be rostered to referee either the game before or after they play. Please click HERE and look under 'Important Referee Information' to read about the 2022 referee regulations for all Secondary Schools Premierships. Should you require further information please contact - referees@nz.basketball |
COACHES INFORMATION Community Course Level 1 All secondary school coaches attending Basketball New Zealand single A and AA tournaments must complete the BBNZ Community Course Format 1. Please click HERE for a Course Overview. Click HERE to register. DrugFree Sport NZ We encourage all secondary school coaches and administrators to complete the DrugFree Sport NZ Level 1 E-Learning course, that is designed for support personnel who have never received anti-doping education.
